Financial Systems Controls Analyst

To support a growing team, the full-time Financial Systems Controls & Assurance Analyst will design, implement, and enhance scalable SOX-ready controls and assurance processes across financial systems while collaborating with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities Design, implement, and improve scalable controls and assurance processes across financial systems and SOX-relevant business operations Evaluate system and process changes to identify control impacts and embed appropriate control activities Review system activity and audit evidence to validate completeness, accuracy, and control effectiveness Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience At least 3 years of experience in SOX compliance, IT controls, internal or external audit, or related assurance work Strong understanding of SOX, ITGCs, application controls, and financial reporting processes At least 2 years of experience using SQL for data analysis and control validation activities Demonstrated ability to identify control gaps and implement process improvements
