Personal Trainer Job DescriptionWe are seeking to add TWO motivated, experienced Personal Trainers or Master Level PTs to our experienced team.Gold's Gym Personal Trainers provide customized fitness programs to our members and help them achieve their goals!Our Personal Trainers teach their clients proper cardiovascular exercise, resistance training and guide them regarding general nutrition per PT guidelines.If you want the opportunity to assist our members to achieve their fitness goals, then it's time for you to bring your "A" game to Gold's.We provide a safe, cohesive work and workout atmosphere, where employees and members perform their best efforts to achieve their goals each day.Personal Trainer Expectations and ResponsibilitiesBe punctual prepared and able to attend all staff meetings and member sessionsCommunicate well with members and employeesDesign individual exercise programs tailored to specific client goalsDemonstrate and teach exercises while providing feedback on member's form and techniqueExecute proper cardiovascular, flexibility and resistance exercise throughout workouts and progressive program design in a safe and effective mannerKeep up to date regarding anatomy, functional exercise, general exercise science and basic nutritionMaintain current client files accuratelyMotivate members to improve their overall fitness and health in a professional, serious and friendly mannerPromote Personal Training and help members purchase PT services and be willing to learn if you do not know the processStay passionate about fitness and training and maintain your level of personal fitnessUphold Gold's protocol and policiesHold current PT certificationGrow and be willing to have a full schedule of members to train based on the hours of availabilityJob RequirementsPossess current CPR/AED or acquire within 30 daysPossess current nationally recognized personal trainer certificationProvide a consistent 25 hours plus of availability during prime time hoursMinimum of 1 year experienceCompensation: 1,000.00 - 8,000.00 per monthFrom a single gym in Venice Beach, California in 1965 to a global symbol of strength and performance, Gold's Gym has defined serious training for nearly six decades.
