What’s a typical day...You’ll be:

• Serving as an embedded HR consultant in daily operations, partnering with site and business leaders to stabilize workforce performance through data-driven insights and practical solutions
• Providing timely, high-volume, real-time issue resolution by being visible and accessible to employees and leaders, including on the shop floor, aligning actions to shift schedules and safety needs
• Delivering on-demand coaching, consultation, and data-based analysis to leaders with a focus on employee relations, risk mitigation, investigations, discipline/corrective action, and policy enforcement
• Supporting integrated talent management including workforce planning, talent reviews, DEI consultations, and succession planning in partnership with Talent/Staffing teams
• Managing and resolving individual cases through HR platforms, preventing escalation, reducing grievances, and minimizing labor disruption
• Proactively communicating HR policies and program rollouts through effective and practical channels for shift-based environments
• Participating in site projects and transformation initiatives to implement people solutions that enhance workforce stability such as shift staffing, skill certification, and continuity planning
• Acting as a role model for inclusion, accountability, and agile ways of working within the organization

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Hold a relevant university degree (required)
• Have at least 5 years of HR experience (preferred)
• Have experience supporting union employees (preferred)
• Possess deep and broad knowledge of operational HR, business acumen, and understanding of business drivers and challenges
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, consultation, and relationship-building skills
• Are available to work in-office at least 3 days per week and are a local candidate
