1st Shift Production Operator

Peoplelink Staffing has partnered with a global leader in automotive parts manufacturing. Our customer engineers and produces advanced solution that help improve vehicle safety, performance, comfort, and efficiency for some of the world's largest automotive brands. We are currently seeing Production Operators for their Somersworth, NH manufacturing facility.



Production Operator Job Summary:

• 1 st and 2 nd shift
• 1 st shift 7am-3pm paying $19.50
• 2 nd shift 3pm-11pm paying $20.48
• Overtime may be needed
• Temp to hire

Production Operator Duties:

• Procure drum tubes following proper process, and feed tube into machine
• Operate braiding equipment applying yarn re-enforcement over rubber layer of tube
• Visually inspect braided tub, perform quality checks
• Mark defects with tape to identify defective portion
• Collect spent yarn, cobs, and empty into appropriate containers
• Print product tags
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and goals

Production Operator Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, etc for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperature
