Plating Line Operator – Will Train
Pay: $16.00–$18.00/hour, depending on experience
2nd Chance Employer - Must be willing to submit to a Nationwide Background Check and a Pre-Employment Drug Test.
Location: West Side of Cleveland, OH 44135
Job Type: Full-Time
1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Openings
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
We are a metal plating company on the west side of Cleveland looking for dependable Plating Line Operators to join our team.
NO PLATING EXPERIENCE? NO PROBLEM — WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN!
What You'll Do
- Operate and monitor an automated electroplating line
- Load and unload plating racks and barrels
- Follow work instructions and production specifications
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform plating work using appropriate equipment and solutions
- Add chemicals to plating solutions as instructed and trained
- Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility and load trucks
- Assist with wastewater treatment and hazardous-waste procedures as trained
- Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Report equipment requiring maintenance or repair
- Follow all company safety procedures and work instructions
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Manufacturing, plating, machine operation, or forklift experience is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to learn and complete required safety and environmental training
- Dependable attendance and ability to work your assigned shift
- Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and chemicals
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
