Internal Medicine Physician

Arc Health is seeking experienced Internal Medicine Physicians to provide outpatient care at
our partner facility in New Mexico. Our partner facility is a 99-bed hospital serving the Navajo Nation in New Mexico.The facility is one of the busiest facilities within the Indian Health Service, with approximately 250,000 outpatient visits and 5,800 inpatient admissions annually. You ll be part of a
collaborative, mission-driven team dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Native
communities.

Practice Setting
Outpatient Internal Medicine Clinic
Adult patient population (18+)
Visit structure:

• o New patients: minutes
• o Follow-ups: 20 minutes

Average patients per day
Supported by RNs, MAs, case managers, and admin staff
No walk-in or urgent care clinic attached

Patient Population:
Medically complex cases, including high rates of:
Diabetes
Cardiac conditions
Substance use disorders
Rheumatologic conditions

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive outpatient Internal Medicine care
Evaluate and manage new and follow-up patients
Treat chronic conditions and some urgent care needs
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (5 7 providers daily)
Perform basic ambulatory procedures (preferred, not required)
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Monday Friday
8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Qualifications
Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Any active, unrestricted U.S. medical license and DEA
Minimum 36 months of physician experience (including at least 12 months in Internal
Medicine)
Current BLS certification
Credentialing Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain IHS credentialing and privileging
Clean NPDB report
Successful completion of federal background checks (Level I & II)
Required immunizations:

• o MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• o Tdap (within 5 years)
• o TB test within 12 months

Compensation & Benefits
$155/hour (based on experience)

Minimum 3-month assignment with extension options
