Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers a per diem opportunity in a home infusion pharmacy specializing in IV and infusion services for patients with acute and chronic medical needs. The role focuses on delivering safe, effective medication therapy in a cleanroom environment, supporting patients outside of a traditional hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and process physician orders accurately and efficiently
• Perform sterile compounding and support cleanroom operations in compliance with USP <797> standards
• Ensure safe dispensing of medications and infusion-related supplies
• Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records in accordance with federal and state regulations
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize therapy outcomes
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff during shifts
• Manage assigned patient caseloads and provide pharmacist coverage as needed
• Receive comprehensive training to become confident with pharmacy systems and workflow

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist License in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy experience required; 2+ years clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience with infusion therapy and/or sterile compounding highly desirable
• Solid knowledge of USP <797> sterile compounding standards
• Strong communication, multitasking, time management, and critical thinking skills
