Maintenance Assistant

Job Title: Maintenance Assistant (Full-Time)

Location: Princeton, Indiana

The Arc Southwest Indiana is currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant. This person would support the Director of Maintenance by planning and coordinating preventative maintenance for equipment, machinery, tools, buildings, and agency vehicles.

Essential Functions:

· Manage and maintain vehicle fleet.

· Schedule vehicle maintenance and repairs.

· Assist with building repairs and maintenance.

· Perform grounds maintenance.

· Document all work performed.

· Ensure buildings, property, equipment, and vehicles are safe and sanitary.

· Assist with transportation needs and vehicle insurance.

· Repair and service vehicles.

· Provide data for transportation grant writing.

· Perform other necessary duties.

Qualifications:

· Maintenance experience preferred.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors.

· Valid driver's license.

· Must be able to pass a background check.
