Sr. Quality Engineer
Dallas, TX (100% remote)
1 year open ended contract (strong extension for potential)
Daily Activities:
- Analyze and test (both manual and automated) around web services, API’s, and integration code as it pertains to the new partner card program for Southwest.
- Implement quality engineering functionality within a well-integrated application system in accordance to the partner requirements, organizational methodologies, and standards
- Partner with the product owner, project manager, and BA to ensure the work package is delivered on time and on scope.
- Respond to production problems and implement immediate resolution efforts to the team and other.com areas.
- Refines ACs in 3-Amigos sessions
- Creates/Updates Traceability Matrix
- Identify and prioritize scenarios for future regressions
- Implements and maintains continuous testing
- Creates modular and reusable automated functional and acceptance tests
- Tracks weekly testing metrics
- Create Modular & Reusable Test Suites, System Level Tests
- Manage defect ticket creation and follow up
