Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical lab tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other essential disciplines-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, identify anomalies, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and preparation for analysis as the need arises.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and maintain laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a sanitized, safe working environment and comply with both regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science or a relevant allied health field, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within the first year of employment.
• Keep your certification current throughout your tenure.
