Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

$2080.80/week –

Job Summary:
Provide temporary coverage in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit for a duration of 20 weeks, with flexible options for 13 weeks. Ensure all scheduling, start dates, and shift details are confirmed prior to submission and remain unchanged thereafter.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit according to established protocols.

• Recognize ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to arrhythmias.

• Complete assessments, monitor patient status, and document all clinical information accurately.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient treatment plans.

• Complete required assessments such as safeMedicate and ECG rhythm recognition during orientation.

• Maintain compliance with facility policies including documentation and reporting standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Ohio or compact state license at the time of submission.

• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience, with at least 18 months of perm experience prior to travel.

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory; willingness to obtain NIHSS before start.

• Provide one recent reference from a supervisor, ANM, or director within the specialty within the past 12 months.

• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and pass required assessments during orientation.
