Production Manager

Production ManagerRollon by Timken is seeking an experienced Production Manager for our growing Norton Shores, MI facility. Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating manufacturing machinery and equipment (CNC, Mills, Lathes, etc.), and have a deep understanding of manufacturing safety and quality processes. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager, Americas and be responsible for employees on 1st and 2nd shift. Key functions of the role include ensuring our production floor is a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times, driving EH&S initiatives, ensuring quality control processes are adhered to, managing the day-to-day manufacturing flows in partnership with each department, leading, troubleshooting, and resolving production-related challenges that arise, ensuring standard operating procedures are followed, monitoring KPIs and making data-based business decisions to support the successful operation, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and teamwork, developing our production floor talent through training and mentoring channels available, and participating in the selection of new production hires.Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent, 7+ years experience leading production operations, including managing and leading others, a technical background (mechanical engineering preferred), 5S and Lean experience (ISO a plus!), OSHA experience, and the ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required (~10% or less expected).Compensation and benefits include a competitive compensation package that includes health, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability, legal services, accident insurance, pet insurance, identity theft protection, 401(k) with a generous company match, paid time off (vacation, sick, paternity/maternity, 10 paid holidays), and tuition reimbursement.
