We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Order Picker to join our 2nd shift operations in a food manufacturing environment. This role is essential in ensuring the timely and accurate handling of materials and finished goods while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Order Picker to join our 2nd shift operations in a food manufacturing environment. This role is essential in ensuring the timely and accurate handling of materials and finished goods while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review scheduled receipts and shipments daily
- Ensure accurate receipt of materials, including raw, packaging, and co-pack products
- Verify outgoing shipments match the bill of lading
- Complete required paperwork and forms for material receipts; enter data into Sage ERP system
- Conduct quality checks on materials (color, moisture)
- Stage outgoing shipments and unload/store finished goods
- Coordinate with the Logistics team for timely deliveries
- Actively participate in the company's safety program (AWAIR) , including meetings and training sessions
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment compliant with all regulatory and company standards
- Adhere to Food Safety and Quality objectives , including compliance with FDA and Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1+ years of experience in a food manufacturing or FDA-regulated industry
- Valid Forklift License
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (experience with Sage ERP preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to work around moving machinery
- Physical requirements:
- Ability to stand, lift, and bend for 95% of the workday
- Ability to squat/crouch and push/pull 33% of the workday
- Ability to twist, grasp, and turn for 50% of the workday
