The Learning and Development Specialist supports the day-to-day administration and operation of the enterprise Learning Management System (LMS). Maintains accurate learning records, processes assignments and registrations, publishes and tests digital learning content, runs standard reports, resolves routine user issues, and follows established governance, security, and quality standards. Works with internal customers and system partners to provide a reliable, user-friendly learning experience across company affiliates.

Primary duties and responsibilities include LMS administration, operations, and user support (80%) and content hosting, testing, and technical publishing (20%).

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of experience supporting or administering a learning management system or comparable technology platform. Preferred experience includes working with Saba Cloud/Cornerstone Saba or a comparable learning management system, supporting learning systems or digital content in a regulated environment, and publishing or developing digital learning content using Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or a comparable authoring tool.

Storm duty requirements include responding to storms as a condition of employment. Tampa Electric and its sister companies serve a role in providing critical services to our community during an emergency. Team members are required to participate in the response/recovery activities related to emergencies/disasters to maintain service to our Tampa Electric customers. Team members are required to work in their normal job duties or other assigned activities. Proper compensation will be made in accordance with the company's rules and procedures.
