Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an Endoscopy department in an acute care setting. The RN will provide high-quality patient care throughout endoscopic procedures while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before during and after endoscopic procedures
• Perform patient assessments and monitor patient status throughout procedures
• Administer medications and sedation as ordered
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures
• Maintain accurate patient documentation within the EMR system
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery care
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous Endoscopy experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
