IT Project Manager - Software Development

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate software development and enterprise technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing software implementation initiatives, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, and driving projects from planning through successful delivery. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills within fast-paced technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management activities for software development and IT implementation projects
Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, infrastructure, operations, vendors, and business stakeholders
Manage project timelines, deliverables, budgets, risks, and resource allocation
Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, project meetings, and status reporting
Track project milestones and ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies to leadership and stakeholders
Support SDLC processes and ensure alignment with project objectives and business requirements
Maintain project documentation, reporting metrics, and project governance standards
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance project delivery efficiency

Required Qualifications

5+ years of IT Project Management experience
Strong experience managing software development projects
Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams
Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar platforms

Preferred Qualifications

PMP, Scrum Master, or related certification
Experience with enterprise application implementations or system integrations
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience working in large enterprise or consulting environments

Nice to Have

Vendor management experience
Exposure to cloud-based applications and modern software platforms
Technical understanding of APIs, integrations, and application deployments
