Position Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of patients, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive histories

• Support intraoperative care by preparing surgical rooms, positioning patients correctly, and managing instrument transfers
• Provide exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, conducting wound care, facilitating discharge planning, and presenting educational guidance to patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited physician assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices is strongly preferred

Required Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification is mandatory
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a physician assistant is necessary
