Job Description The following details the responsibilities and qualifications for this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Research warehouse scratches and perform slot checks as needed. C heck all items approaching expiration and communicate the necessary information to the buying team P roduct capture knowledge A clear understanding of the damage, donation, and reclamation processes. C omplete warehouse slot changes and strategy changes. Verify expiration dates, pull close dated product. Verify inventory in aisles as assigned. Make appropriate adjustments. Utilize Power Bi to record the ship date on pre booked items to ensure we have the right items slotted . Operate MHE. Work as a member of the AWG team so the total job responsibilities are met. Actions must always stress a sense of cooperation, integrity, tact and consideration with our members, associates and division management. Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma preferred; prior warehouse experience plus warehouse mobile equipment operating experience preferred. Basic required competencies: Conscientiousness, detail oriented, safety minded, self motivated to achieve, high initiative, ability to work with limited supervision, team oriented, learning and applying information, ability to follow instructions in English (both written and verbal). LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and speak fluent English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence relating to position. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic math and algebra. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Possess the ability to work with coworkers and gain mutual respect with a common goal of increasing sales and profitability. This is a safety sensitive position, and must have the ability to operate safely warehouse mobile equipment. Indoors, with adequate cooling, heating, and adequate lighting. Outdoors as needed. Working in warehouse environment with moderate noise due to industrial mobile equipment operation and varied temperatures based on assigned work area. Temperatures will vary based on outside temperatures for the non-air-conditioned section and cool temperatures ranging from -15 to the upper 40's for the perishable sections.
