Role Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals across all age groups, utilizing established evaluation methodologies and keen observational skills.
• Design customized therapeutic plans focused on immediate advancements and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions emphasizing language acquisition, clarity, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, working harmoniously with a spectrum of professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to ensure an integrated approach to care.
• Facilitate educational opportunities for patients and their families to promote ongoing progress beyond the therapeutic environment.
• Partake in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy, ensuring seamless transitions in care.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation consistent with local, state, and organizational regulations.
• Commit to lifelong learning through professional development and staying informed about new industry practices.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a credible institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already ASHA-certified.

Required Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Therapist .
• Preferably hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting employment.
