Physical Therapist I - Part Time, Atlantic Visiting Nurse, Morris County

JOB DESCRIPTION

Physical Therapist, part‑time, Atlantic Visiting Nurse Department, 8am-4pm, Morris County. Principal Accountabilities Performs initial examinations and differential diagnosis. Provides and prescribes plans of care consisting of corrective therapeutic exercise. Performs manual treatments consisting of soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, and many more. Supervises and interacts with support staff and maintains proper documentation. Evaluates and establishes a plan of care and treats patients accordingly. Documents patient care and charges appropriately; documents the course of patient care. Works with other professionals in an effective manner. Provides clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions. Evaluates patient response to treatment and provides feedback to the interdisciplinary team. Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Functions/Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients in their homes. Minimum Education High School Diploma or GED, required. Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, required. Master or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, preferred. Minimum Experience 1 year of experience in homecare, strongly preferred. License/Certification NJ License in Physical Therapy. BLS, preferred. Valid and unrestricted Driver License with a clean driving record, required.
