Truck Driver

Platinum Mile

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to handle long-haul, drop and hook routes as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will operate the vehicle safely, perform basic vehicle inspections, and ensure timely delivery of cargo while complying with all safety and transportation regulations. This role is an individual contributor position focused on independent driving and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

Operate truck safely on long-haul, drop and hook routes
Perform basic vehicle inspections
Comply with all safety and transportation regulations
Plan and manage routes effectively
Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules
Problem-solve independently during routes
Maintain communication as needed for coordination

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of truck driving experience
Willing to work a minimum of 3 weeks straight per month
High school diploma or equivalent
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Knowledge of vehicle inspection procedures
Experience with route planning
Defensive driving skills
Strong time management
Effective communication abilities
Problem-solving skills
