Utilizing state of the art strategies, processes and human capital, Controlled ensures the highest degree of service and integrity for the sensitive environment we support; impacting those industries that impact the world.POSITION PURPOSE: The Handyman will oversee and complete a wide range of repairs throughout the facility location. These tasks include trade skills, repair work, maintenance work etc. We are looking for someone to be organized and have good time management skills as well as with strong general repair skills.MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:Include the following key areas and duties, which may be modified or increased as necessary:Regularly perform maintenance jobs and light repairsRegularly perform various maintenance tasksRepair equipment and various machines and appliancesIdentify, document and report maintenance and repair workRespond to clients' maintenance requests in a timely and professional mannerProvide minor painting servicesSuggest additional repairs when identified and neededAll other duties as defined by your supervisorQualificationsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.A minimum of 2 years' working experience in a similar role.Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.SKILLS REQUIRED:Must have and be able to consistently apply the following skills at the levels indicated to produce assigned results.Communication SkillsCustomer Service SkillsInitiative SkillsProblem Solving SkillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Required to spend on-the-job time on the following physical activities:StandWalkLift/ClimbTalk/HearUse hands to finger, handle or feelReach with hands or armsThe Weight or Force requirement in this position is: Up to 40 poundControlled Contamination Services is an equal opportunity employer – vets/disability.
