McCandless , PA - Full -time; Hourly, Non-exempt; 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. ; 40 hours per week


Starting Pay: $16.74/hour - $2 2 . 75 /hour; Depending on experience + up to a $500 sign-on bonus

The Lead Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Med Tech provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living (ADLS) , demonstrates knowledge of the Medication Administration Cycle, and assists with daily operational needs of the community to help ensure individualized, person centered, and quality care.

Requirements for th e Lead Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Med Tech :

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required or active registry status on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide registry.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Two years of Personal Care experience.
• M ust be able to produce all documentation to prove received certificate in Medication Administration, including observation and insulin administration.
• Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork.
• Be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with residents, resident families, and team members.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills to support, advise, coach, and influence others.
• One year Experience in memory care (dementia or Alzheimer's) preferred.
• Proven leadership experience preferred.
