Field Technician I The Field Technician II will safely set, maintain, repair and operate multiple types of natural gas compressors in their respective area for Park Energy Services.Duties & ResponsibilitiesRead gas meters and instrumentation recording the amounts of gas received/delivered/consumed and report any operational, temperature and pressure changes as needed in operating logsWatch gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure equipment is working properlySet units and perform start-up procedures on locationMaintain replacement/repair parts for assigned unitsAssist with overhaul of engines, compressors and related componentsAssist in disassembly and removal of unit from locationUse hand tools to clean, lubricate, adjust equipment, replace filters, gaskets and other items while identifying what kind of maintenance is neededUse electronic devices for troubleshooting, testing or commissioning equipmentCoordinate and assist with scheduled and unscheduled equipment repair and maintenanceWill have call-out rotation responsibilities and respond to unscheduled service callsSubmit accurate maintenance reports and other necessary paperworkMaintain a current and valid drivers licenseOther duties as assigned Skills & CompetenciesWorking knowledge of pneumatic and electric starters, electrical systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, ignition systems and other compression related anatomyWorking knowledge of different types of engines and compressors – operations, maintenance and troubleshootingUnderstand the basic operations of production equipment such separators, dehydrators, etc.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other software tools and applications that are beneficial to the positionCommunicate information effectively with all levels of co-workers by phone, email or in personAble to work independently or with othersEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED is preferred2+ years mechanical experience on engines and/or other mechanical equipmentPrefer experience with modern engines and compressors used in the natural gas industry, including modern electronic engine controlsPI53dbe12335c8-31181-41443332
