Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday with floating day off | No weekends or holidays | On-call required approximately 3–4 times per month from 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM | Start Time: 7:00 AM | End Time: 5:30 PM | Projected Start: 09/21/2026 | Projected End: 11/22/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting throughout the perioperative process
• Assist surgical team during procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile technique
• Document patient information and clinical activities accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in on-call coverage as required, approximately 3–4 times per month
• Support orientation of new staff by maintaining consistent unit coverage during transition periods

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR (required)
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled
• Compliance with facility dress code: navy blue scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with scrub and circulating roles within the OR
