Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - 2040 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Telemetry interpretation. - Telemetry monitoring. - Acute care experience must be current/today (and working consistently in the last 12 months) and must be in the specialty with which they are applying.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Oncology experience preferred but not required.

Required Credentials: - Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: - Cannot apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any of the Ohio State University facilities.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Common diagnoses include breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers, and patients receiving antineoplastic chemotherapy. - 17 James cares for solid tumor cancers throughout the spectrum of their cancer journey, from new diagnosis through treatment and transition to end-of-life care. - Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls. - Cares for patients with true med surg issues.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekends variable based on unit needs.

Floating Requirements: - Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
