Lung Transplant Program Manager

Overview Join an exciting opportunity to help shape and advance a Lung Transplant Program!!!!! This leader will partner closely with transplant physicians, surgeons, nursing, operations, quality, and executive leadership to develop efficient workflows, promote exceptional patient outcomes, and ensure ongoing regulatory and accreditation readiness Responsibilities Provides operational leadership for one or more solid organ transplant programs and serves as a key partner to transplant physicians, administrators, and multidisciplinary clinical teams. Under the direction of the Director of the Transplant Program, this position is responsible for the daily management of program operations, regulatory readiness, quality improvement, financial performance, staffing coordination, and strategic initiatives that support growth and excellence in transplant services. The Program Manager ensures compliance with all requirements established by CMS, OPTN/UNOS, and applicable accrediting bodies while driving operational efficiency, patient access, and exceptional patient outcomes. Demonstrates knowledge of CMS Conditions of Participation, OPTN/UNOS policies, SRTR metrics, performance improvement methodologies, Lean or Six Sigma principles, and data analytics and dashboards. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required and Master's Degree Preferred Work Experience 5 years experience in an appropriate healthcare/hospital leadership position Required Experience managing multidisciplinary teams Preferred Two or more years of experience with transplant Preferred Managerial and financial experience within a hospital setting Preferred Transplant Coordinator experience Preferred Experience working with both outpatient and inpatient hospital settings Preferred Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required Business Unit : Company Name Piedmont Atlanta Hospital #J-18808-Ljbffr Piedmont-Healthcare
