Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of physical therapy services that have been planned, delegated, and supervised by licensed physical therapists.
• Utilize effective communication skills to educate patients and families on treatment plans and therapeutic exercises that promote recovery.
• Complete and document patient care activities promptly and accurately in accordance with organizational protocols.
• Implement infection control policies while providing care to ensure patient safety and well-being.
• Accept and manage clinical assignments aligned with your skills and training.
• Participate actively in continuing education programs to meet mandatory requirements and enhance professional skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The PTA will work with a diverse patient population, providing care to individuals of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric. Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program is highly preferred.

• Experience: A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant and proficiency in manual therapy techniques is required.

Compensation and Benefits
