Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Raritan, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to routine concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a healthcare diagnostics location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
