Certified Nursing Assistant - Day Shift

PURPOSE STATEMENT: Wilmington Treatment Center loves our CNAs! This position plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care by supporting daily needs and enhancing the overall well-being of those we serve. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Works with admitting patients by completing vitals, pre-admission tests, and intake documentation Complete vitals and performs various tests (i.e. glucose, UDS, HcG) Performs patient rounds Transports patients as requested Performs administrative duties associated with the nursing/medical departments OTHER FUNCTIONS: * Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: * High School diploma or equivalent required. * Certified Nursing Assistant program completion * Previous experience in behavioral health setting knowledge and experience working with the population of the facility preferred. * Newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: * Current NC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification * CPR, First Aid, and de-escalation certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). * Current NC Drivers License We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual's characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.
