Feed Mill Production Operator

The Feed Mill Production Operator position is essential to the production and shipment of bulk livestock feed, ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Monitor the feed production process to ensure efficiency and timely loading and shipment of products.
• Operate batching systems to accurately measure and mix ingredients, both bulk and bagged, according to specifications.
• Prepare and assemble goods for shipment, ensuring all products are properly labeled and organized.
• Complete receiving paperwork and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
• Conduct quality assurance testing on feed products to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain proper storage and organization of materials and finished products in the warehouse.
• Utilize equipment such as forklifts to move materials and load orders safely.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain physically active for extended periods.
• Available to work - Sundays starting at 8:30 am, with floating end time; Tuesdays through Thursdays starting at 10:30 a.m. with a floating end time.
• Basic math and computer skills for accurate record-keeping and operation of automated systems.
• Experience operating forklifts, tractors, or front-end loaders is a plus, but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
