Medical Laboratory Technician - Nigh Shift About the job Medical Laboratory Technician - Nigh Shift Our client is searching for a candidate that will perform laboratory tests in Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology/Serology, Clinical Microscopy and Microbiology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must understand quality control monitoring, computer applications, troubleshooting when necessary. Follow the laboratory's established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance. Perform a variety of routine and special laboratory procedures as authorized by the Manager or Director including rotation through at least three (3) areas of the Clinical Lab: Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Immunology/Serology, and Microbiology. Operate laboratory equipment and instruments; record data and maintain equipment. Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed. Use universal safety precautions to protect self and co-workers from bio-hazardous materials, including blood-borne pathogens.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology or Chemistry. MT, MLT degree preferred. Minimum of one (1) year clinical laboratory experience.
