Weekly Hours: 24.00

Salary Range: $20.50 - $33.00

The role involves delivering respiratory care modalities in which the individual has demonstrated clinical proficiency during their formal education. Care will be provided to all patient demographics, primarily in non-critical care settings. The candidate must be adept at addressing the growth and developmental needs of diverse client populations. Essential skills include the ability to assess the respiratory status of patients across all age groups. Proficiency in all respiratory care equipment and therapies is required, along with the capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies as advancements in respiratory care occur.

• Enrollment in a Respiratory Care program endorsed by the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) is mandatory.
• Verification of demonstrated competencies from the program is required.
• Completion of orientation and any necessary competency validations and in-services as mandated by the department and facility.
• A current state license for Respiratory Care Practitioner is necessary if licensure is mandated in the working state.
