MedStar Health is seeking a full-time Board eligible or Board-Certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join their established team at MedStar Health: Ophthalmology at Charlotte Hall. 

 

Position Overview : We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Ophthalmologist with a focus on Comprehensive Ophthalmology to join our practice. The clinical practice would consist of outpatient clinic and outpatient surgery time. This opportunity would allow the physician to join a large, integrated health care system while being able to easily establish and maintain a positive work-life balance.

 

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide expert care in Comprehensive Ophthalmology, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of conditions, in an office with state-of-the-art equipment.
• Work closely with a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
• Engage in patient education and build lasting relationships within the community.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the practice through collaboration and innovation.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.

 

Qualifications:

• Medical degree with board certification/eligibilty in Ophthalmology.
• Demonstrated clinical skills and a passion for patient care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, high-volume practice.

 

Other highlights of this position include:

• $350,000-$400,000 base salary depending on experience. Guaranteed base salary for the first two years.
• $30,000 signing bonus
• $10,000 relocation allowance
