Medical Surgical Oncology - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Oregon license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Oregon Health & Science University and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Oregon Health & Science University.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: 1 year minimum medical oncology experience.

Required Credentials: Chemo certification required; does not have to be ONS.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Chemo competency is preferred. Previous Charge Experience: Preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests: For any approved requests more than five days, the traveler is required to add the time to the end of the contract to allow a full 13-week assignment. All time off requests must be outlined at the time of submission.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, sickle cell disease, and symptom management needs. Performs chemo/biotherapy, stem cell infusions, CAR-T, bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, blood product transfusions, and central line care.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call. Maximum of five RTO days will be approved for 13 weeks.

Floating Requirements: Will float within scope to Acute Care/IMC to meet facility needs.
