Position Housekeeping Supervisor Overview The Omni Richmond Hotel is looking for an experienced individual to join its Housekeeping Department as a Housekeeping Supervisor. The role is to ensure that the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms, public areas, back of house and landings meet Omni's standards. Shift Hours 12pm - 8:30pm Pay Rate $20 per hour Responsibilities Inspecting the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and public areas Assigning special projects as directed by the Executive Housekeeper Reporting any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms Ensuring that all Guest Room Attendants have appropriate supplies and linens and that linen carts are neat and well-organized Assisting in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary Ensuring that linen closets on guest room floors are stocked, neat, and cleaned Ensuring VIP rooms are inspected ASAP Being knowledgeable about the hotel, facilities and events Maintaining a safe and secure environment for hotel guests and associates Qualifications Experience planning, scheduling, and supervising the work of a multi-shift housekeeping staff Previous Housekeeping Supervisor experience in Hospitality preferred; minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience required Flexible availability including weekends and holidays Knowledge of safety practices in the use of cleaning chemicals and supplies Strong time management and attention to detail Effective oral and written communication Proficiency with computers including e-mail, Microsoft Word & Excel Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including lifting and walking for extended periods Omni Hotels & Resorts is an Equal Opportunity/AA/Disability/Veteran Employer.
