Role Overview Patient Experience Manager1 at Sodexo. Newark, DE. Patients are the heart of everything we do! Sodexo is seeking an experienced Patient Experience Manager 1 to lead daily operations for our food team at Christiana Hospital, a 1000‑bed acute care Level1 Trauma Center and Delaware’s largest healthcare provider. What You’ll Do Round with existing patients, families, and Nursing personnel. Collaborate with hospital clinical and administrative leadership. Collect, organize, and trend data; communicate findings with Nutrition Services and interdisciplinary teams. Network with other hospitals to identify best practices. Oversee the Diet Office and supervise Diet Office hourly staff & patient services hourly staff. Perform daily patient meal rounding using Service Depot, interacting with patients and nursing staff. Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to increase patient satisfaction. Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance. Oversee the patient tray line to ensure meal accuracy. What You Bring Work closely with the Clinical Nutrition team. Act as liaison between dietitians and nurse managers. Collaborate with other Sodexo Managers to enhance the patient and dining experience. Regularly analyze patient satisfaction data and implement additional measurements and action plans to achieve optimal unit performance. Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum management experience: 2 years. Minimum functional experience: 1 year in a Service Recovery role in a large hospitality or hospital environment. Location: Newark, DE. Posted Range: $47,300 to $71,390.
