VP, AI Strategy & Deployment

About the Role Vice President of AI Strategy & Deployment to lead the company‑wide effort to embed AI into high‑impact business workflows across GoodRx, with enterprise‑wide scope and executive visibility. Responsibilities Lead the company‑wide AI roadmap, including identification, prioritization, sequencing, and governance of AI use cases. Own AI agent strategy for Pharma Direct, prioritizing deployment of AI agents for patient‑program matching, adherence orchestration, manufacturer ROI intelligence, employer automation, and other high‑impact workflows. Collaborate with Engineering to set business‑driven requirements and priorities for AI platform evolution, translating business needs into platform requirements. Drive enterprise AI adoption, partnering with functional leaders to identify, prioritize, deploy AI into key workflows (sales enablement, customer support, finance, legal operations) and establish repeatable playbooks. Own AI governance and trust standards in partnership with Legal, Security, and Data teams, ensuring compliance and responsible AI practices. Maintain executive relationship with Sponsor’s technology team on AI maturity scoring and alignment, representing GoodRx at portfolio‑level forums. What You Will Not Own Direct ownership of Data, Engineering, or Product teams; no headcount authority. Qualifications Deep technical fluency in modern AI/ML, ability to evaluate approach (fine‑tuning, RAG, agentic, classical) and set direction. Strong understanding of transformer architectures, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and production‑scale MLOps. Proven track record of owning and driving AI from concept to production across multiple business domains (commercial, operational, analytical). Experience deploying AI outside engineering or product (sales enablement, finance, legal, customer support). Demonstrated ability to influence enterprise‑wide adoption across functions without direct ownership, building credibility with senior leaders. Preferred: experience in healthcare, pharma, or regulated industry; experience navigating compliance, privacy, and trust considerations in AI in healthcare deployments. Executive communication: experience presenting to senior executives (CEO, Board) and external partners, translating complex AI into clear business impact. Benefits Pay ranges by location: SanFrancisco & Seattle – $365,000–$583,000; NewYork – $334,000–$535,000; SantaMonica – $304,000–$486,000; Other – $274,000–$437,000.
