Business Analyst - Data Analytics & Reporting

Salary: $91,000 - 102,250 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, Analytics, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in product management, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related function
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with analytics, data, or visualization tools
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to develop business cases, measure impact, and present findings to senior leaders
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams in a fast-changing environment
• Proficiency in SQL; BigQuery is preferred
• Experience with BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, or Power BI
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive presentations
• Familiarity with Agile methods and experience writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, data quality, and semantic layers is a plus
• Experience with data governance, KPI definition, product success metrics, or self-service analytics is an advantage
• Retail, supply chain, or eCommerce experience is helpful but not required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship

• Partner with directors and engineering managers to develop and execute enterprise data product strategy
• Work with business, analytics, and executive teams to define requirements across business domains
• Develop and manage data products, including dashboards, KPIs, semantic data layers, and self-service analytics tools
• Define user experience requirements and user journeys with stakeholders
• Collaborate with analytics partners to prototype metrics, dashboards, and analytical experiences
• Support scrum teams by setting priorities, defining epics and stories, and communicating product vision
• Turn complex analyses and unclear business needs into actionable requirements and clear presentations
• Produce routine and ad hoc reports; monitor KPIs and assess product adoption, performance, and return on investment
• Build cross-functional relationships to align business and technical teams
• Track industry trends, emerging data technologies, and competitive analytics capabilities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Work with data engineering and governance teams to uphold enterprise standards for data quality, lineage, definitions, and reliability
• Lead user research, feedback sessions, and change management to improve usability and adoption
• Prepare documentation such as product requirement documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, release notes, and user guides
