This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.What You Will DoUtilizing SPC, statistical methods and data analysis to improve production processes including enhancements in yield, lowering costs and increasing manufacturing up timeAssisting in new product development and maximizing manufacturing capabilitiesLeading complex projects in a team-based environment taking advantage of your excellent relationship building and communication skillsUtilizing continuous improvement methodologies to facilitate process improvements and teach othersWorking with customers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions (up to 10% travel can be expected)Training production operators and working collaboratively with them to improve processesOpportunity to develop expertise in float processes and equipment to support troubleshooting and process improvementsWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)A Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Ceramic Engineering, or a related STEM degree plus 3 years' of manufacturing experience OR in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum 3 years’ experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environmentExperience operating or supporting production processes in a manufacturing environmentAbility to utilize statistical methods and data analysis to improve production processesExperience working with customers to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actionsWhat Will Put You AheadExperience driving process improvements by collaborating across multiple organizational levels and disciplinesDemonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work autonomously on assigned projects3+ years as a process engineer in a manufacturing environmentExperience leading 8Ds to help root cause problems and put corrective actions in placeAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
