Job Details Location: Catawba Mill, Catawba, SC 29704 Position Type: Full Time Travel: Less than 10% Category: Manufacturing Title: Maintenance Planner Department: Maintenance Reports To: Planning Group Leader Summary The Planner is responsible for the safe and efficient planning of all maintenance work activities. Responsibilities Interact with production and maintenance staff to plan and schedule repair and preventive maintenance. Coordinate and prioritize maintenance work with appropriate operations, maintenance, engineering, and safety staff. Fully utilize current information, procedures, and work methods to positively impact equipment reliability. Provide technical leadership as necessary to production and/or maintenance employees. Demonstrate a full commitment to safety process and policies, including integration of safety into all planning functions. Actively pursue measures that improve operational efficiency, cost reduction, and equipment reliability. Maintain good working relationship with management, staff, and hourly employees. Daily responsibilities include: review new work orders, detail planning, develop schedules, close work orders with feedback, update bills of material, maintain outage schedules during shutdowns, participate in scheduling meetings, assist Supervisor, contact outside contractors for quotes. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience. Good written and verbal communication skills. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to think creatively. Functional use of Microsoft Office, Lotus, and maintenance systems. Highly organized and efficient work methods.
