Evolve Healthcare is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel contract in an acute hospital in Hays, KS. Estimated Hourly Pay: $52.48 - $58.48 (travelers hourly estimated gross based off 40 hours with per diem/stipends and based off experience) Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: $2099.00 - $2339.00 Specialty: Occupational Therapist (OT) Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 7/31/23 or ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm schedule Monday Friday and occasional weekends may be required Compensation: $2099.00 $2339.00/week (travelers weekly estimated gross with per diem/stipends based on experience) Employment Type: Travel Contract Location: Hays, KS 67601 The Occupational Therapist facilitates the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled persons; maximizing the functional status of hospitalized patient. Responsibilities are to evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age appropriate treatment programs, participate in discharge planning, performs administrative duties, participates in PI, pursues professional growth, and performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Facility Requirement: Traveler must have permanent address outside 50-mile radius of Hays, KS 67601 (address must be included in traveler's profile). Local candidates may be considered if you meet all the requirements. Experience: Must have experience working in a hospital or rehab unit. Traveler must have completed 1 -2 years of acute care or inpatient rehab experience. Will consider a PT with no experience if willing to learn and a quick learner. Someone who is flexible with work schedule. Limited RTO. Preferred if traveler has completed at least one 13-week contract. EMR: Meditech Licensure and Certification: Traveler must have Kansas Occupational Therapist Licensure BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY Education Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapist Reference Needs 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only). Float May be required to float to the Med Surg unit as needed.
