PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital, Rhinelander, WI Full-time (1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period) Varied day/evening shifts, weekend/holiday rotation This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus! Job Description The Pharmacy Technician performs accurate and timely preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products and associated functions, under the supervision of a pharmacist. Duties include clean room, cart fill, repackaging, inventory, automated dispensing cabinet, outpatient, first dose, clerical area, chemotherapy preparation, and carousel. Experience / Qualifications Knowledge of organizational and project management practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a health‑related field, pharmacy and computers beneficial. National Pharmacy Technician Certification beneficial.
