Job Overview A Hi-Five Sports Zone Coach will report to the GM and will assist in coaching children’s sports classes. The candidate must be comfortable working with children and guardians and can lead and assist with classes and possibly birthday parties. Physical Aspects of the Job This position requires listening to others, observing actions, reading information, comprehending instructions and manuals, and having physical ability to move about the Program property in various environmental conditions. Requirements Outgoing, energetic attitude and confidence in teaching, leading, and facilitating discussions with children ages 2-13 years old. Experience working with and love of children of a variety of ages, abilities, and personalities. Age 15 years or older. Sports experience – intercollegiate, intramural, and/or high school experience. Experience playing and/or coaching soccer, baseball/softball, basketball, football, and/or fitness. Flexible, takes direction and has initiative, and is comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment. Mandatory paid trainings will occur once employment is complete. All candidates will be asked to undergo a fingerprinted background check by the Department of Justice. Responsibilities Leading a group of players in organized drills, games, and scrimmages. Possibly assisting in running birthday parties. Assist with offsite events and after-school programs. Be a role model to all customers and staff in attitude and behavior. Follow and uphold all safety and security rules and procedures; set a good example to children and others in regard to general company procedures and practices including sanitation, schedule, and sportsmanship. Represent the company when interacting with parents or community members; provide parents with appropriate feedback and information for their child to have a successful experience; present a positive image of the company and yourself. #J-18808-Ljbffr
