Prescriber (Medication Management)

Overview Maryland Wellness is hiring a Prescriber at our Upper Marlboro location, just minutes from DC and easily accessible for professionals across the DMV. This is a strong opportunity for a clinician who wants to do meaningful behavioral health work in a collaborative, client-centered environment without the bureaucracy of a large hospital system. In this role, you'll conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized medication management plans. You'll guide clients through their treatment options, clearly explaining the benefits, risks, and potential side effects of medications so they can make informed decisions about their care. Collaboration is central to how we operate at Maryland Wellness. You'll work closely with each client\'s treatment team to ensure care is holistic and well-coordinated, and you\'ll connect clients to additional programs and community resources when appropriate. This position starts at 5 to 15 hours per week, making it a great fit for clinicians looking to expand their practice or take on a flexible supplemental role alongside existing commitments. Prescribers who are open to servicing additional Maryland Wellness office locations will be eligible for additional compensation.
