Overview Employer: Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits LLC Job Title: Director of Product Operations, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) Locations: 2300 SW 145th Avenue, Miramar, FL 33027 14911 Quorum Drive, Dallas, TX 75254 Duties Lead the implementation and ongoing management of ML operations practices and tools to streamline the development, deployment, and monitoring of ML models. Continuously monitor and analyze model performance metrics, identifying opportunities for further optimization and improvement. Collaborate with data science teams to implement automated hyperparameter tuning pipelines, leveraging industry standard tools. Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team of data platform operations professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Build and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, data science, information technology, and business stakeholders. Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data management, ML operations, and cloud computing and drive the adoption of industry best practices within the organization. May telecommute but must reside near Miramar, Florida headquarters or Dallas, Texas office. Requires up to 10% domestic travel. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, software engineering, electronic engineering, or related field; plus 7 years of experience in job offered or similar occupation. At least 7 years of experience in ML platform operations, including at least 4 years in a leadership role. Knowledge of ML operations tools and frameworks, cloud platforms, security and compliance, risk management, CI/CD, strategic thinking and innovation, stakeholder management, and change management.
