Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room & Medical Surgical

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a critical care access facility. The ideal candidate will be required to work across all patient units, including the Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) departments.

Job Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the ER and Med Surg units.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as needed.
Coordinate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.
Participate in the division of patient load among nursing staff on each shift.
Assist in the management of both inpatient and emergency cases as needed.
Respond effectively to emergencies and participate in crisis management.

Shift Details

Full-Time position.
DAYS: 0500-1700, 36 hours per week.
Weekend rotation required (every third weekend).

Qualifications

Must possess current and valid RN license.
Experience in Emergency Room and Medical Surgical nursing is required.
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC (must be through AHA).
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.

Additional Information

During the flu season, a flu declination is allowed; however, masking will be required. There is a designated crisis nurse available on-call every night to provide additional support when necessary.
