Family Medicine Opportunity in Tomah, Wisconsin -Full Time & Permanent Position.-Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Family Medicine.A Family Physician is needed to join eight other physicians at our growing practice in Tomah, Wisconsin. The Tomah clinic family physicians share equally in general call (will be 1:9 with the OB call being 1:5). The practice provides 1:9 hospitalist coverage to the local community hospital. Full backup from all subspecialties. OB is optional. This practice opportunity offers a stable, high-quality Family Medicine group practice in a small community with the convenience of the local hospital, Tomah Health. The Tomah clinic staff receive support from Mayo Clinic Health System Franciscan Healthcares main clinic/250-bed hospital in La Crosse, WI, which is located 45 miles from Tomah.Hospital is a 25-bed critical access community hospital and includes in-house MRI and updated CT. The hospital contracts for Emergency Room coverage. The on-call Tomah clinic hospitalist physician is called for admissions. Outreach services provided at Tomah by Mayo Clinic Health System / Franciscan Healthcare specialists include allergy, audiology, ENT, cardiology, oncology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and urology Tomah, Wisconsin With a population of 9,300 and a service area of approximately 25,000, the town of Tomah is one of the fastest growing areas in west central Wisconsin, offering an ideal family environment with excellent schools and unlimited, four-season recreational activities.
