Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology services across three schools in a supportive educational community near Pope, MS. This position is perfect for SLPs with expertise in school-based, pediatric, or clinical fellowship year roles who are eager to make an impact with a manageable caseload and collaborative colleagues.

You’ll split your time between Charleston Elementary, Charleston Middle, and Charleston High School, working with students spanning a variety of age groups. The district offers support and the chance to work alongside a team that values both in-person and virtual expertise. This role features a consistent weekly schedule with approximately 8 hours per week, perfect for those seeking flexibility or a part-time supplement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Mississippi teaching certificate with 215 endorsement
• Eligibility for or possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Certification from the Mississippi Board of Examiners in Speech Pathology or eligibility preferred
• Membership in the Mississippi Speech and Hearing Association and the American Speech and Hearing Association preferred
• Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates; supervision is available as needed
• Experience with pediatric or school-age populations is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve a small, focused caseload of students (exact numbers to be determined), supporting communication and language development
• Deliver therapy sessions, evaluate student progress, and maintain IEP documentation
• Collaborate with current virtual SLP staff, teachers, and support personnel
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide recommendations for interventions
