Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly Contract Weeks: 14

Requirements

• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required
• AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring class completion required
• AWHONN Advanced fetal monitoring class and EFM certification preferred
• Ability to handle HIGH ACUITY patients
• EMR system: Epic
• Degree accreditation must be present on profile or must have 5 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in a Labor and Delivery unit
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal well-being
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Assist with labor and delivery processes
• Administer medications and manage patient pain relief
• Educate patients and families on the birthing process and postpartum care

Compliance / Notes

Call required: 12 hours in a 6-week scheduling period. Floating required; travelers may float to other facilities as necessary. All required time off must be submitted with application; no approvals after submission.
